Children's Ministry
Children are an Important Part of God’s Family
Jesus saw kids as a valuable part of the Kingdom of God, and we do too! We want all kids to be known, build relationships and grow in their faith in an age appropriate way through play, songs and Bible stories. Our team of background checked volunteers create safe, fun environments where kids are cared for and experience the love of God.
Arrive a few minutes early to check in your kids at the check in counter in the foyer. Children 5 and under can be dropped off in the nursery/preschool room where they will play, have a snack, hear a bible story, and play some more. Elementary school kids will start off the service in worship with their families for the first few worship songs, then will be invited to go to their classroom with their teachers. They will have some free play time, snack, games, and an engaging Bible story.
River Life kids ministry is truly a place where each individual kid is known and celebrated. We look forward each week to following Jesus together.
River Life Youth Ministry
We are a group of teenagers and volunteers seeking to follow Jesus together. We have a mix of faith history-- some who have been born into the church, and some who aren't sure about the whole faith thing. Everyone is welcome and included, no matter where you are coming from.
A typical youth group night involves snacks and hanging out, games, sharing prayer requests, discussing God's word and how it applies to our lives, and more games. We also love to get away for retreats, have fun overnights, and serve together.
We meet every Sunday from 6:30-8pm at River Life.
Teens in 6-12th grade are welcome.
