I’ve been married to Ken Scarberry since 1991. We have two children Josh, age 19 and Grace age 14. I grew up in East Sacramento and attended local public schools until the 5th grade when I transferred to Capital Christian School and graduated in 1988. I’ve been the Children’s Director at River Life for 5 years. Working with children is my passion. I love the unexpected things they do and say. Their enthusiasm and acceptance is refreshing and it energizes me. It is my hope that as the Children’s Director I am able to keep our program at a place where the children feel safe, welcome and loved. Our goal is to develop children into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. This means that our kids will grow up to love God and actively serve his purposes, and continue the process of growing to honor Christ in all areas of their lives.
